Vincent Buro, 70, of Marshalls Creek, died Thursday, January 4, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Carol (Spininger) Buro.
Born on June 10, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the only child of the late Pat and Virginia (Brancaccio) Burro and lived in Monroe County for the past 15 years moving from Lynbrook (Long Island), NY.
He was a retired New York Sanitation Department worker and currently worked as a gate keeper at Country Club of the Poconos.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Joann Pesola and her husband Michael, of Long Island, NY and their children Allan, Michael, Mario and Dominic; and Dana Buro, of Long Island, NY; seven step-children: Victor Picone and his wife Pat of Long Island, NY and their children Nicole, Victor and Christopher; Vincent Picone of Long Island, NY and his children Vincent and Caroline; Donna Picone of Effort; John Picone and his wife Beth of Lehighton and their children Devin and Dylan; Joseph Picone and his wife Tracy of Long Island, NY and their children Joseph and Victoria; Carolann Dixon and her husband John of Jonas and their children Joseph, Kaitlyn and Tommy and Anthony Picone and his wife Lauren of Long Island, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 8, at 10:00AM from St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, Brodhead Avenue and Ridgeway Street, East Stroudsburg with Father Arul as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Mountainview Mausoleum in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
There will be a viewing on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:30PM at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg.
