Katherine A. Oliver, 73, of Hamilton Township, died Wednesday, January 8, at home.
Born on March 14, 1940 in Astoria, NY, she was the daughter of the late John N. and Frances (Mutschler) Klein and lived in Monroe County since 1990 having moved from Ledgewood, NJ.
She was a registered nurse having worked for the private practice of Bernard Covalesky, MD and also House of the Good Shepherd in Hackettstown, NJ.
Surviving are: three children, George M. Vanderbush and his wife Maja of Rockaway, NJ, Carla G. Silver of Pocono Mountains, PA and Susan E. Mascioli and her husband Anthony of Scotch Plains, NJ; seven grandchildren, Katherine Vanderbush, Michael Silver and his wife Michelle, George M. Vanderbush, Jr. and his wife Caitlyn, Emily Silver-Francis and her husband Cito, Darren Mascioli, Jared Mascioli and Richard Burdge; and two great grandchildren, Aiden Michael Francis and Hunter Vanderbush.
As per Katherine's wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to Animal Welfare Society of Monroe (A.W.S.O.M.), P.O. Box 13, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
