Sylvia Ann Schaller-Mosher, 63, of Middle Smithfield Township, passed away on Saturday, June 30 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late James C. Mosher, Sr. who died on April 29, 2000.
Born on May 30, 1949 in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Elinor "Mickey" (Whittaker) Halterman and had lived in Monroe County all of her life. She had been a payroll clerk at the Fernwood Resort in Middle Smithfield Township, was a clerk at the Salvation Army Thrift Store in East Stroudsburg and had last worked with the Bushkill Group.
She was a member of the George N. Kemp Post 346 American Legion Auxiliary, East Stroudsburg.
She is survived by her children, Darryl Schaller and his wife, Elaine of Canadensis and Donna Schaller of Marshalls Creek, and her granddaughter, Emmalee Dunning.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, July 5 from 7-8:30PM in the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6 at 10:30 AM in the William H. Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. David Berryman officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
