Jean A. Moore

Jean A. Moore, 51, of Effort, died Friday morning, June 22, at the VNA Hospice House in East Stroudsburg.

Born on July 11, 1960 in Paterson, NJ, she was a daughter of Jack Moore of South Carolina and the late Leah (Martel) Lydick. She lived in Monroe County for the past 20 years moving from Paterson, NJ.

Jean was a bus driver for the East Stroudsburg School District and was a member of the Reformed Church of Bushkill.

In addition to her father she is survived by her life partner, Michael Leclercq, Sr. of Effort; six children, Kelsey Abarca and Amanda Abarca both of Effort, Justin Davidson of Marshalls Creek, Douglas Abarca of Jersey City, NJ, Michael Leclercq, Jr. of Effort, and Marie Leclercq of Bethlehem; three grandchildren, Balian, Paul and Kaitlyn; three sisters, Brenda Rappold of New Jersey, Marsha Knight of Maine and Jill Lydick of Florida; five brothers, John Moore of South Carolina, James Lydick of Maine, Linden Lydick, Jr of New Jersey, David Lydick of Maine and Thomas Moore of South Carolina and her step-father, Linden Lydick, Sr. of Maine.

In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by a sister Terri Jerome.

There will be a viewing from 3:00 to 5:00PM Monday, June 25, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. The funeral service will begin at 5:00PM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Steven Sayer officiating. Private cremation will take place following the services.
